The Society provides support services to women in Ottawa, particularly women incarcerated in provincial and federal institutions. Ms. Baxter serves as Executive Director, as well as the Federal Advocate for the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, and President of the Council of Elizabeth Fry Societies of Ontario.
Previously, Ms. Baxter served for twenty years as an educator with the Peel District School Board, including positions such as Vice-Principal.
